Cover Reveal Time! Taking A Look At "Halo" by Olga Gibbs

At the end of last year, I was part of a lovely group that had the privilege to reveal the cover of Olga Gibbs' book "Harbringer." It is the third part of the Celestial Creatures series and if the cover is anything to go by, it promises a darker and more sinister turn of events.

Celestial Creatures was meant to be a trilogy but the third part ran its course and over-shot its target. Thus, Gibbs decided that she would split the last part and created a four part series. The fourth part is called "Halo" and this is what the cover is going to be:

This time Gibbs chose a lighter and less aggressive design than for "Harbinger". It has a close resemblance to the cover of the second book "Hallow" as it shows a bright and yellow halo around her face but instead of transitioning into a dark corner, this time there is light blue.

What is going on behind the cover?

"I am Uriel: The Harbinger of Chaos, The Keeper of the Gates, The Begetter of Life, The Dam of The Ends and I’m coming to take what’s mine!”

The clash with Baza and his angels had demonstrated to Ariel that Earth (Apkallu) is not the safe heaven she thought it might be and it is only a matter of time before she’s dead. The only way to survive is to fight back and to accept her destiny.

But as Ariel, with Jess in tow, returns to Uras she’s rejected in her own domain, and needs to fight to suppress the revolt against her reign. The angels refuse her and her lead, abandoning her and Uras in favour of a new ruler.

She knows that without an army of followers she won’t stand a chance against Baza or Mik’hael, so now she needs to go into most unexpected places to find one"
